Stock definitions or categories can be in an active or inactive state. An active state means that currencies can be credited or debited from that group, while an inactive state means that currency type will be in a dormant state and no other actions can be performed on it. Once a stock definition has been created, it needs to be activated for general use under Stock Definitions. Before a stock can be associated to a company, outlet or user, it will have to be activated on the company stock interface and the outlet stock interface.
